Indira (she/they), also known online as Little Death Poetry, is a Canadian poet and potter, reluctantly working a 9 to 5 in policy development. While her ceramic art is known for playful and vibrant motifs, her poetry paints in darker themes, with grief, yearning, and nostalgia. A millennial emo through and through, their casual and melancholy prose is ripe with references, dripping with brain rot.

Little Death Poetry started in early 2024 on Instagram, as a way to share works-in-progress with fellow poets, and to build community. Indira is a proud, long-time member of Gather Poets, learning together with a group of inspiring writers on a weekly basis. Her art has matured and flourished in this space, and she credits her debut collection, Swelling Dark, in large part to the warm support of other poets.
